Professional Land Planner

Thank you so much for visiting my website. I am a professional land use planner and designer, based in Colorado, with 20+ years of experience in resort, rural and urban community planning.

Specializing in entitlement, and building form and site design, I have years of planning for residential and commercial development in the western slope/mountain valleys of Vail and Aspen, with experience on the front range of Colorado as well. As you can also see from visiting my website, I also do graphic design and marketing. I have also achieved certification in Conflict Resolution and Mediation.

Through design, I have combined my expertise into an advanced form of planning, which benefits both governmental and private sector clients. I call it: Experience-Based Planning. I believe it is not a matter of simply presenting an idea for new or improved development, but it is also a matter of importance to incorporate design and cohesive social psychology into a community needed to reflect the community personalities of the people who live there. Vibrant communities filled with people that understand the varied components of a community attract new businesses and residents, seeking to become part of something important: a place where people love to live and work - or as I prefer to call it = quality of place.

I believe in the COMMUNITY as a whole, functioning as a sustainable and social machine. Change is necessary to maintain vitality, sales tax dollars, and residential (locals) and commercial retention, all the while, accommodating growth and community resilience. I help fit the pieces into the planning puzzle, using my years of professionalism that is rooted in leadership and design.

"Learn from yesterday, live for today, hope for tomorrow. The important thing is not to stop questioning."
